MISSING MIDDLE MIXED USE

Built in two phases using NLT (Nail Laminated Timber), Brewery Park is 16 flexible residential units. Thoughtfully designed suites, each with its own personality. Nestled between Oland’s Brewery and Bilby Park in Halifax’s North End providing a unique guest experience sort or long term in the heart of North End Halifax. With four commercial spaces on the ground floor and occupying 90% of the lot this is an example of mixed use making the most of postage stamp lots.

Paying homage to Halifax’s rich architectural history, the buildings are equally at home in 2020 as they would be in 1820. Familiar architectural detail; clapboard wood siding, and traditional wood windows in concert with dentils, and corbels are ubiquitous in Halifax’s character-filled North End. Carefully considered human-scale design preserves the neighborhood’s walkability and architectural articulation aimed to contribute to the neighborhood fabric.
